Simple Cooking- Easy Soy Glaze

I wanted to share a wonderful all purpose sauce that you can serve with many dishes. You could use it on top of fish, as a topping for Asian noodles, chicken, and veggies, or pour it over roasted shrimp and rice. It is a super simple sauce, and suprisingly delicious. It is very flexible, as you can make as little or as much as you want. We had it last week with baked salmon and sauteed baby bok choy.
– Equal parts soy sauce and brown sugar (I usually do about 1 cup each)
-Chili garlic sauce to taste-I start with 1/4 tsp. (optional)
Combine ingredients in a sauce pan with a wisk. Heat over medium low and cook for about 7-10 minutes, or until sauce has thickened and is a bit syrupy. Make sure you stir frequently, especially if you aren’t using a non-stick pan.
